Language Acquisition Resource Center | Developing Instructional Media for Web Interface Technology
Internet interactive technology now affords learner control and enables communicative learning that has become the web replacement for static online language learning content. This summer institute is designed for language teachers who want to develop interactive digital content and make it accessible to learners online. Discussions will include the teaching and learning potential of web interactive technology and how new applications may be applied to different learning environments.
Demonstrations and hands-on development will include digital media production for BlackBoard and Moodle course management systems, and for Web 2.0 technologies such as Podcasting, Blogs, Mashups and other social networking software.
